Who we are
HELOC Facts is operated by Tyler Huntington (NMLS #181638) of Truss Financial Group, LLC (NMLS #2006915). "We" and "us" in this policy mean the operator of this website.
Information we collect
- What you submit. If you request a rate, we collect your name, email, phone number, property state, property type, estimated home value, mortgage balance, credit range and the amount you're looking for, along with a record of the consent you gave and when.
- Calculator entries. These stay in your browser's session storage, which clears when you close the tab, unless you submit the rate request form.
- Visit source. We store a small record in your browser's local storage: the first page you saw, the website or search engine that referred you, any campaign tags in the link and the date, plus the identifier of the most recent ad you clicked, if any. It stays on your device until you clear your browser data, and it's sent to us only if you submit the form.
- Technical information. If we enable analytics, it may collect the pages you visit and your device and browser type, and may set cookies.
How we use it

- To contact you by phone, text or email as you agreed
- To keep records required by law
- To understand which pages and sources bring visitors, and to improve the site
How we share it
We share your information with lenders and service providers when needed to evaluate or process your request, such as credit reporting, customer relationship management, automated text messaging and other communications providers, and when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Calls and text messages
If you give consent on our form, we may contact you about your request by call or text, including with automated technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help. You can also tell us to stop in any reasonable way, including by phone, and we will honor it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it by calling (949) 998-5403. Some records connected to a loan application must be kept for periods required by law. California residents may have additional rights under California privacy law, and we will honor verified requests as the law requires.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires.
Children
This site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
